Murray Bell is a creative director based between Sydney and Los Angeles. His primary focus is on creating meaningful and memorable experiences that add new dimensions to visionary ideas.
Starting out as a pro-surfer and graphic designer, Bell founded the Semi Permanent design festival in 2002 to bring together the world’s premier graphic artists of the time—growing over 20 years into a global creative platform and an extended talent network of over
500,000+. Over these years, he also served as a creative director, experience designer and trusted advisor for artists, editorial publications, luxury brands, tourism organisations, and even a US presidential candidate (not Trump)—helping build new IPs, direct films, design immersive exhibitions, and mediate between the creative world and its commercial accelerators.
Individually, Bell has created and collaborated with Banksy, Thom Yorke, Jacquemus, Apple, Daniel Arsham, Sia, the International Olympic Committee, Gucci, and many more. The emphasis, as always, remains on creating experiences that add new connection points between an artist, their vision and their audience.
