I’m a creative who likes to make lots of things, from logos and products, to global campaigns and greeting cards.

I started my career in 1998 working with a brilliant creative director who encouraged me to be a graphic designer, art director, web designer, illustrator and occasional IT guy. Then, I joined Ogilvy Johannesburg and worked on Audi, KFC, Castle Lager and Motorola.

I moved to Ogilvy Toronto where I learned how to make integrated campaigns from two amazing women, and did “Diamond Shreddies” which found its way into textbooks, TED talks and ridiculous YouTube clips.

I was asked to join Ogilvy & Mather London as Worldwide Creative Director for Dove. I went on to lead Dove Men and worked on Brand Unilever. Then I became Worldwide CD for Philips Consumer Electronics, and was the agency’s creative lead for all things digital and integrated.

Then Adam&EveDDB headhunted me to be their Global CD for Unilever. I ran Lipton Ice and Hot, and helped the Wall’s team unify over 200 ice cream brands under one global campaign.

In 2016, I founded a creative business consultancy, Truth & Spectacle. I also spend huge amounts of time thinking about location with the incredibly smart people at what3words.
