Like millions of others, I am a visual artist from Brooklyn New York who enjoys coffee and dogs. The best part about Brooklyn is that even after living here for a little over 20 years I still haven’t explored everything.
As a child, I always had a discerning eye. I remember scanning the ground in search of shiny treasures and colorful bugs. My love of tiny details was fostered by these early childhood experiences. Continuing my art journey into high school, I learned about expressing myself through my art and connecting my love of tiny details into a bigger picture.
I was accepted into SVA fresh out of high school and started a major in fine arts. After a year I left to explore different paths but didn't want to leave the city I loved. Dog walking made perfect sense. I was able to work out, feed myself, and most importantly explore to my heart’s content. The city motivated me, I was able to utilize all my inspiration from the day in my pencil drawings, watercolor, photography, digital art, collages, and more.
The opportunity to express myself and create for a living is my dream. I am searching for a place in the creative industry that works on projects that can make a difference. Art is a powerful tool for change and I hope to be on the right side of that change.
