After completing her material led degree in Design & Craft (BA Hons) at the University of Brighton, where she learnt the essentials of woodwork, metalwork, ceramics and plastics, Louise Thilly (Weez) joined forces with her sister Madeleine (Merl) and founded Weez & Merl Ltd. in early 2018.
The duo explore how traditional craft skills and techniques can be applied to modern waste materials, and have been exploring the aesthetic and design potential in recycled Polyethylene plastic for the past 6 years.
