Javin Mo is the founder of design studio Milkxhake and a Hong Kong-based graphic designer and curator. He has been actively involved in collaborations with leading local and international clients, particularly from the arts, cultural and institutional sectors. He was also the editorial and design consultant of Design 360°, the only bilingual design magazine in China between 2009 and 2015. Javin’s works have been selected for numerous international design awards including: Tokyo Type Directors Club’s Prize Nominee Work (2018), iF Design Award (2017), Gold Award in Taipei International Design Award (2017), Taiwan Golden Pin Design Awards – Best in the Year (2015), British D&AD Awards (2015), New York Art Directors Club Young Guns 5 and many others.

Javin has been a curator for numerous design exhibitions and events in Asia. Recent projects including Hong Kong’s “TYPE TRIP–The New Asian Graphic Design Exhibition” (2014), associate editor with Osaka based curator and writer Tetsuya Goto for “YELLOW PAGES”, a special feature for Asian graphic designers appeared in Japan’s IDEA Magazine (2014-2016), “MOBILE TALK” (2016-2018), a new platform of creative sharing and discussion had been touring around the Asian cities in Osaka, Hong Kong, Taipei, Singapore and Tokyo, co-curators for “YELLOW PAGES” Exhibition in Kyoto ddd gallery (2018), “Projects ∙ Objects ∙ Play” - Tommy Li P.O.P. Design Show in Hong Kong (2018) and “mobilebooks”, a new curated moving bookshelf in Hong Kong (2019).
