Alexander Jaggy

After graduating from commercial college, Alex started his career as a junior copywriter at BBDO Zurich in 1990. Two years later, he moved to the legendary GGK agency. In 1994, he went to work as a copywriter in Germany. First at Springer & Jacoby, and then, after three years, at Jung von Matt. In 1999, he was engaged by Springer & Jacoby to help set up their international office in London. After seven years abroad, he returned to Switzerland to work as a creative director for the newly founded Jung von Matt/Limmat agency. In 2004 he was promoted to Executive Creative Director, and in 2006 he became one of the agency’s partners. In 2016, after 15 years, he decided to leave Jung von Matt/Limmat to co-found thjnk Zurich. Alex has a bachelor’s degree and an Executive MBA from the Berlin School of Creative Leadership. He has been a jury member at nearly all of the major international advertising award shows, including Cannes Lions, One Show, Eurobest, New York Festivals, and London International Awards. Alex is a board member of ADC Switzerland, member of ADC for Germany and the British D&AD.
