Laura's lifelong passion for children's books began even before she graduated from Norwich School of Art. Her major project book was published following graduation and went on to win a prestigious V&A Illustration Award.
Laura has continuously worked for a variety of children's publishers in London as Designer and then as Art Director. She has worked across many fiction and non-fiction genres including baby and pre-school, picture books, novelty, licencing and young adult.
Laura has also written and illustrated over 20 published works and designed a variety of award winning titles working with talented writers and illustrators.
She is passionate about children’s book design and her career spans over 20 years in publishing.
