Louise Bowan

Louise is Head of Talent at Making Pictures, a new generation photographic agency that was established in 2011.
She has worked in the photographic industry across both art and commercial fields for over 10 years, with some of the most exceptional photographers in the UK.
Graduating in photography in 2001 from the University of the Arts London, Louise applied her intense passion for the visual to the agency environment, starting her professional career at Webber Represents. Her many roles evolved into realising larger, more creative projects, business concepts and development, while also working one-to-one with photographers to advise on and produce personal projects, exhibitions and books.
Throughout her career, Louise has produced several contemporary photography books, including two for Valerie Phillips. More recently she was commissioned to create and manage the archive for the late Corinne Day - working with Gimpel Fils Gallery and key curators such as Charlotte Cotton. She’s now co-editing a book of Corinne’s images entitled ‘Heaven is Real’, which is due for release in 2013.
Louise continues to work as Creative Consultant and Producer alongside her role with Making Pictures.
