Katrin Owusu is the creative director of award-winning agency Smoke Creatives.
After almost a decade of experience in marketing at Sony Music and Playstation, she moved over to the third sector, working for Christian Aid, ONE Campaign, The Global Poverty Project, and the International Broadcasting Trust. During her time at Christian Aid she spearheaded Ctrl.Alt.Shift, the experimental youth initiative that encouraged activism amongst the younger generation through harnessing the arts and pop culture to engage, raise awareness and bring about change.
Wanting to bring cultural insights and relevance to non-profits as well as purpose-driven brands, she co-founded Smoke in 2013. Smoke Creatives has since worked with Shelter, VSO, and The Canal & River Trust to unearth and tell their most interesting stories to deepen engagement and increase loyalty amongst audiences
