Megan K. Fox is an Irish writer/director based in London. Her work includes award winning short films, music videos and features in development.

With a BA in Film, Literature and Drama, Megan moved to London in 2014 to pursue an MA in Film Directing at the Met Film School. Shortly after completing her course she was commissioned to write her first feature film script by an independent company; a coming-of-age drama set on the eve of the 1916 Rising.

Her graduation film Battle (2015) won awards internationally and saw Megan feature on an episode of 'Beyond the Lens' for Irish TV that focused solely on her short film work.

Megan's next short film Slow Down (2015) won the Colchester Film Festival's '60 Hour Film Challenge' from entries by over 1.5K teams worldwide. It went on to screen at a number of festivals worldwide, including London Short Film Festival and the 9th BFI Future Film Festival where Megan picked up the award for Best Producer. This film also earned Megan a nomination for Best New Irish Director at the Kinsale Shark Awards 2016.

Her latest short GIRL (2016) has enjoyed a warm reception on the festival circuit thus far. A realist drama shot in vertical format, GIRL was one of the winners of the WFTV Lifetime Shorts Competition, named Best Short Film at the Dublin Feminist Film Festival and most recently earned Megan the title of Best Director Under 25 at the BAFTA qualifying Underwire Festival 2016.
