Hannes is in communication and advertising since 1995. He has been working in Hamburg and Vienna as an Art Director, Creative Director, Head of Art and Managing Director Creative for agencies as KNSK, Lowe GGK, Ogilvy, DDB and Zum goldenen Hirschen. In January 2017 Hannes gave it a shot as an Executive Creative Director at Red Bull's inhouse creative agency in Salzburg. There he got to meet the acclaimed artist and illustrator Robert Rottensteiner. As the agency was closed just a few weeks later, Hannes worked with Robert and four former colleagues as Team Rottensteiner. Since February 2018 Hannes works directly for Red Bull as a Creative Brand Strategist for Red Bull Global Consumer Products.
Hannes has won more than 180 international and national prizes, among others three Cannes Lions and a platinum Effie. He is a board member of the Austrian Creative Club CCA and a member of the German Art Directors Club ADC. Hannes has attended the Hyper Island Digital Masterclass and in 2016 the Berlin School of Creative Leadership Seminar for Rising Stars at the ADC Europe. Since 2012 Hannes teaches communication at the Werbeakademie in Vienna.
