Sam started his career as a journalist including stints as a sports commentator for the BBC and on The Sun news desk. He moved to Hong Kong where he made the transition from hack to copywriter working at DDB Needham and McCann Erickson. On returning to the UK, he worked at Ammirati Puris Lintas where he won
digital awards for Mini and at Cannes for Peperami. Sam then joined Lowe where he created award-winning
campaigns for HSBC, Stella Artois and Tesco. In 2006 Sam co-founded The Red Brick Road and helped it grow to become the 15th largest agency in London and one of the most successful independents. In 2012 Sam moved to Karmarama as a Partner and Creative Director. Sam's work has been awarded at Cannes, D&AD, Campaign Press, Creative Circle, British Television Awards and Eurobest amongst others. He is currently Deputy Executive Creative Director at Ogilvy & Mather in London.
