Rodrigo Sobral is R/GA London’s VP, ECD. He is responsible for the agency's creative output and vision as well as for providing strategic and creative leadership to its clients.

Over the last two decades, Rodrigo has been creating integrated campaigns that successfully give brands a meaningful role in culture and innovative products that genuinely improve people’s lives. Rod has been consecutively named amongst the Top 20 Creative Directors in the UK by Campaign magazine and profiled Top 20 Creative Players in Brazil by Meio & Mensagem.

Under his leadership R/GA London more than tripled in size and have been consistently ranked as one of the top agencies in the world, having been named Agency of the Year by Campaign Magazine, Creative Review, AdAge and AdWeek - a clear confirmation of the fully integrated approach Rodrigo believes in.

Rod is also a founding member of R/GA LA, Hustle and Global ECD on the Beats by Dr. Dre account. He led the development of the acclaimed Beats Pills, Hear What You Want and The Game Before The Game campaigns, helping the brand to become the #1 headphone in North America and Europe in advance of its acquisition by Apple for 3 billion dollars.

Prior to R/GA he was the Co-Founder/ECD of the Mill Digital and led the company into being nominated Digital Agency of The Year by the BIMA in 2012. Before that, he was Creative Director at AKQA where he developed products like NikeFootball+, NF+ Team Edition and the prestigious Nike Write The Future and Supersonic campaigns.

Rod’s work has been regularly recognized for its creativity and innovation by almost all industry awards, including multiple D&AD pencils, Titaniums, Cyber and Integrated Lions, GrandPrix from Clio, EuroBest, Campaign, Spikes, BIMA, amongst awards from The One Show, LIAA, NY Festivals to name but a few.

He began his career in São Paulo where he was once a skateboarder and the founding partner of Loo São Paulo – pioneer Digital Creative Production Company in Brazil.
