After a career that has spanned design studio tea boy duties, learning typography at London College of Printing, graphics, client side brand marketing, 20 + years in creative / global advertising agencies (including 12 years as a business development director), and broadcast production / brand content I would describe myself as a creative brand strategist marrying creativity with commercial purpose.
Ok. I'm a 'suit' with a deep rooted passion for creativity, and helping create the right environment for great work to develop and exist.
I started The Cernis Collective in 2010 after being part of a team helping Ashridge Management College develop an executive leadership programme for the creative industries.
We're an agile, industrious enterprise using insight, strategy and creativity to help brands and businesses grow. We build talent around projects and our value proposition is world class work without the traditional agency operational or cost structures.
I'm driven to help others - particularly disadvantaged or vulnerable people. I'm a Marketing Society Business Leader, ex Council Officer of the IPA and a Fellow of The Royal Society of Arts. Oh, and an Awarded Member of D&AD.
