Ro Spankie

Ro Spankie is a designer, teacher and researcher. She has practiced as an architect, furniture designer as well as an academic and is currently Course Leader for Interior Architecture BA (Hons) at the University of Westminster, London. Following a Masters in Computing and Design she developed fascination for the role of the drawing in the design process, that combines with research into the interior. Recent publications include ‘Drawing Out the Censors Room’, in IDEA Journal, (2012), ‘The “Old Cinema”: A Dissolving View’, in The Magic Screen: A History of the Regent Street Cinema, (Granta Editions, 2015) and An Anecdotal Guide to Sigmund Freud’s Desk, (Freud Museum London, 2015).
