Ger Tierney was born and raised in Ireland. After a working in Dublin’s fashion scene for a short while the bright lights of New York came calling. On her arrival in New York Ger blagged a meeting with the major artist agency, Streeters with the sole purpose of working for fellow Irish native Alastair McKimm. Luckily he took a chance on a bright eyed and busy tailed Irish girl and it was here Ger learned the hard graft of assisting. It was Alastair who then introduced her to the i-D team in 2011, where is now the Executive Fashion Editor.
