During the past 4 years as VP Creative, I oversaw WeTransfer’s creative direction, ensuring alignment of creative values across every aspect of the WeTransfer brand for its 42 million active users.
With a background in illustration and creative direction, I co-founded my first company in 1995 a creative boutique helping public institutions and private companies with branding, digital, and interior design.
I moved to Amsterdam in 2008 to focus on illustration working for magazines and newspapers from all over the world, including Monocle, The Wall Street Journal, and The Guardian, I also helped companies such as National Geographic, ING & Square with their digital illustration needs.
In 2011 I was hired as Design Director for Dutch startup Silk.co (Later to be acquired by Palantir).
In 2013 I joined design agency Present Plus as Creative Director a company that became the first acquisition of WeTransfer in 2016.
My professional and cultural interests include design, art, illustration, and technology, and I frequently speak about how I see the future of these topics.
I've been interviewed by titles including Monocle, Vogue Spain, Wired Italy, ADC, and 99u.
During my tenure, WeTransfer received numerous design awards, including Red Dot, Clio, and Lovie.
