Robin Howie is an independently minded multi-disciplinary designer. Howie set up the design studio Fieldwork Facility after graduating from the Royal College of Art in 2010. Since then Howie has established the studio working with a variety of clients such as the Design Council, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Tate Modern, the Architecture Foundation & UK Sport. The studio works across designing both communications and experiences.
Robin has been commended nationally and internationally in press and awards for his work, he has lectured at Camberwell College of Art and Kingston University, and written for the magazines Grafik and ARC.
Robin believes that design can create conversations and have an effect in the social fabric that we live in. The studio’s work aims to create dialogues between people, objects, ideas, materials and places, these dialogues aim to enrich the lives of those who experience them.
