As Kodak’s Brand Director, Dany Atkins takes global responsibility for brand strategy, creative production and campaigns. She is charged with re-energising the creative direction of this powerful world famous brand and is energetically doing so through every medium; from classical re-branding, to buzz marketing campaigns and artistic collaborations, to packaging and product design.
Kodak has enormous brand equity and is a trusted name in both established and emerging markets around the world. A fact which Dany is capitalising on with a revitalisation strategy that looks to both past legacy and future innovation.
Dany's most recent project - the new Super 8 camera took CES by storm when it launched early 2016 with 11m twitter mentions and Bloomberg stating 'Forget drones. Kodak is showing the camera of CES 2016'. And The Verge saying 'Kodak's CEO gave me the coolest business card I've ever seen'. So Dany's impact is very much beginning to be felt.
Experienced in creating disruptive marketing strategies that deliver commercial success, Dany previously ran EMEA Marketing for Beats by Dre. There her integrated, multi-touch approach saw massive growth in both sales and revenue, and made Beats the ‘most talked about brand’ at the 2014 Brazil World Cup.
Dany lives in West Sussex with her son's, dog and partner, but travels frequently to Eastman Kodak’s spiritual home in upstate New York where the majority of her team are based.
