Since 2014 I've been the Head of Content at FutureLearn, the social learning company owned by the Open University.
My team are responsible for working with our diverse range of partners to develop and deliver high-quality courses that embrace FutureLearn's pedagogy based on telling stories, provoking conversation and celebrating progress. These have included 'Propaganda and ideology in Everyday Life', a collaboration between the University of Nottingham and The British Library, to ‘An Introduction to Japanese Subcultures’ from Keio University in Tokyo.
Prior to joining FutureLearn, I worked at the BBC for more than a decade and spent my last five years there leading digital teams for national radio networks including flagship stations Radio 4 and Radio 5 live.
Outside of work I co-run the Tufnell Park Film Club.
