Laurie is currently Executive Creative Director at Droga5, New York.
Laurie started out as an industrial designer in London, working at places like Studio Conran before hopping the fence, teaming up with his long term creative partner Toby, and moving into Advertising. First as a creative at JWT and then at Wieden & Kennedy, where he worked on Honda, Nike, D&AD and the window projects, before moving to New York in 2015.
Since joining Droga5 his work for Under Armour, Equinox, Google, Christies, HBO and campaigns for The New York Times have been recognised globally, entered into popular culture and awarded multiple Grand Prix and other top honours - including two D&AD Black Pencils for ‘The Truth is Worth It’ in 2019.
Laurie was recognised by AdAge as one of the world's Top 5 Creative Directors in 2017 and 2020. He is a speaker at TedX, Contagious and Princeton University.
