Alexander’s 15-year journey in the world of visual arts started with his studies in architecture, where he was influenced by mentors such as Rem Koolhaas and Bolles+Wilson founders Julia Bolles and Peter Wilson. Focusing on the designs and shapes of monumental buildings while also creating interior design concepts, he completed his award-winning thesis in 2008. But he didn’t stop there. Leaving the field of architecture, he entered the new world of art direction, finding his visual voice with key strengths in photography and cinematography. Alexander joined Droga5 in 2011.

Since then, he’s worked on several campaigns, including Hennessy’s “Wild Rabbit” and Under Armour’s “I Will What I Want” & "Rule Yourself" picking up multiple awards. His list of collaborators is long, including noted artists like Tim Barber, Martin de Thurah, Danny Clinch, Jonny Green, Cass Bird, Daniel Wolfe, Sean Freeman, Christopher Anderson and more. After Droga5’s relocation to Wall Street in April 2014, Alexander started curating the agency’s bare white walls with well-known photography and design pieces. He also expanded beyond the D5 walls, working with artists to edit books and co-curate shows.

Alexander not only possesses vast experience in the world of visual arts, but also connections to a network of leading photographers, directors and creative professionals both within and outside of the advertising industry, making him an ideal fit for this specially created position.
