Simon Griesser is an Austrian animation director, motion designer, game developer and illustrator who got recently awarded with the Annie Award 2019 for Best TV Broadcast Commercial (Ran Tan), several golden and silver Cannes-Lions (Falter Inferno) as well as the Apple Design Award (Old Man's Journey and ELOH).
He currently lives in Lisbon. His carreer includes titles such as Greenpeace Rang-Tan narrated by Emma Thomson, Old Man's Journey, BC-One Johannesburg, Starcraft II 2014 WorldCup, Red Bull Air-race, The Montblanc Story with Hugh Jackman, MTV-Brandstory, Eloh the Game or Much Better Now. He worked with Am I Collective in Capetown, with Eat My Dear in Vienna and many many more.
Since 2012 he is partner with Philip (Lip) Comarella of the studio Salon Alpin with production in Vienna and Lisbon. Salon Alpin designs and crafts animations, short films and game designs in a unique poetic imagery for clients such as Greenpeace, ESL-ONE, Montblanc, Falter and many more. Since 2018 they are part of and represented by Passion Animation Studios London and Paris.
