Juan began his advertising career in 1996 at Contrapunto advertising agency, where he started as a trainee. During almost nine years he developed his professional career at this agency, where he became Executive Creative Director. Through these years he worked for accounts such as CANAL+, DIGITAL+, RENFE, SANITAS, MERCEDES, SMART, NOBEL, CRUZCAMPO o CRYHSTLER JEEP. One of the most representative works during this period was the one he developed during seven years for the brand Smart, where he won their first Lion in Cannes. Currently it is one of the most laureate brands in both, national and international festivals.
In 2005 he joined Delvico Madrid agency, as Executive Creative Director. In this period Juan was the main person in charge of accounts such as Alfa Romeo, Schweppes or Telefónica. After one year, he was promoted as Executive Creative Director of Delvico Spain, being in charge of accounts such as Timotei, Kraft, Special K, Ministry of Defence and Rolex, among others.
In November 2007 he left Delvico, and in December of that year he joined Shackleton, where he currently works, as Executive Creative Director and partner. Since then, Shackleton has received countless awards in many festivals, being the “Agency of the year” award at Cannes, in the section of integrated campaigns, the most prominent of all of them.
Through his professional career he has won numerous recognitions in most of the national and international contests, such as CdeC (Spanish Creative Club), Eurobes, F.I.A.P., Clio, standing out 15 lions at Cannes, 44 awards at El Sol (Latin American Festival of Advertising Communications), One silver award , an other silver nomination and one wood award at D&Ad.
Juan also has been part of the jury in several festivals, such as Cannes Lions, CdeC (Spanish Creative Club) and El Sol (Latin American Festival of Advertising Communications)
