Programme Leader BA (Hons) Graphic Media Communication
Alongside my role as Programme Leader for BA (Hons) Graphic Media and Communication at University Centre, Somerset I am also a Freelance Illustrator with 22 years experience. My clients have included BBC Magazines, Woodmansterne, Campaign, Elle Decoration and Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton. Furthermore I am a current part-time PhD research student, exploring the British Illustrated Cookbook and the interplay between author and illustrator at the University of Portsmouth. Particular research interests include Elizabeth David, Len Deighton and the publications of the Stork Cookery Service.
