The Illustration course has established a reputation for exploring and challenging the breadth of contemporary illustration practice. There is a strong, vibrant and supportive studio culture with an emphasis on experimentation, investigation and invention. The curriculum reflects a shift in the creative industries towards collaboration, networking and shared entrepreneurial practices.
The studio-based aspect of the course is an important feature, with exciting and lively day-to-day activities that include lectures, workshops, visits and peer reviews of work. Practical workshops include printmaking, 3D, photography and digital design.
