D&AD New Blood Shift is our intensive night school program that places an emphasis on raw, untrained talent. The program prides itself on creating pathways into the creative industries for those outside of traditional academia. Shift compels its students to make the best creative work of their life. This is accomplished through workshops, talks by those at the top of their game and real client briefs that help transform creative talents into tangible, marketable skills that can excel people forward into a career in the creative industries.
In 2019, 74% of the ‘Shifters’ secured placements following graduating the program in January, including in companies such AKQA, Iris, and Design Bridge.
