Paper Artist. Fabricator. Hand Lettering.
My love of design started at 10 with the purchase of my first scrapbook. Layout, Text, Art mixed with photos of me, I was hooked. This contributed to my earliest love and connection with paper. My passion grew, paving the way for a successful career in visual merchandising and management. With a high focus on window display and styling. Confident in my craft, after 10 years experience, I quit retail and began my own freelance career. With teaching hand lettering workshops and participating in art shows.
From those beginnings my fabrication career began. I worked on the 2019 Macys, Harold Square, holiday windows for which we won best in show. A curated holiday event for Ariana Grande at her home. And PayPal small business windows on 5th avenue, which received gold from The One Club in craft/ art direction.
My latest install will be a permanent fixture at 41 Madison showroom in correlation with photographer David Benjamin Sherry's work. In line with my niche and medium of crepe paper, and focusing on large scale installation work.
I want to continue with Botanical inspired paper sculptures, whole rooms of imaginative worlds. Bringing humans back to their connection with earth. Our need for nature in our lives, and fixation on everlasting life. Don't you want to feel connected?
