    We Make Belonging

    When I was at Central St Martin's and the Royal College in the 80’s I believed I was capable of doing anything, nearing the end of my MA I realised the tutors were a bit nervous as they thought I would never get a job with my approach! When I left University I realised it was extremely hard to get people to listen to my thoughts beyond the Graphic Design input they wanted from me. I spent years being frustrated that my work was controlled by others who had a different outlook on me, I felt like an outsider. In response, it made me more determined and I had my mission to change this situation. I instinctively carved my self my own space between Design and Art.
