During the ultra-expensive Transfer Window, eBay put unreachable legends like Roberto Carlos and Eni Aluko within reach of humble Sunday League clubs by listing them on eBay for anyone to bid on. Not for millions, but for only £5. It reminded the world that football isn't all about money, but passion and community, and for the first time ever, eBay brought Super League attention to Sunday League.
