As the world's most widely circulated street newspaper, The Big Issue exists to offer homeless people, or people at risk of homelessness, the opportunity to earn a legitimate income. To mark its 30th anniversary, the newspaper implemented a complete overhaul. The cover featured a new custom font, masthead and layout system inspired by posters. Vendors reported that more noticeable covers are more likely to lead to a sale, making the design of the newspaper all-important.
