Peru has the highest wage gap in Latin America: 29.6%. Bank on Equality is a banking initiative that levels the wage difference between men and women. Wonderman Thompson Peru developed a unique algorithm that compares all of its female clients’ salaries with that of a male counterpart, recognising critical variables such as age, occupation, education, and geographic location. This allowed the agency to know the specific wage difference for every one of our female clients. In turn, ScotiaBank would automatically fill that salary gap with the banks' own currency: Scotia Points
