When NYC’s Metropolitan Museum closed due to Covid-19, Verizon created a way to reopen it online. 140 built an immersive 360° experience that let visitors ‘walk’ The Met’s halls, giving new meaning to some of the world’s most famous artworks using 5G. Verizon and The Met curated 12 never-before-seen galleries in 30,000 sq ft of digital space and, for the first time, gave people the ability to take Met art home because who wouldn’t want a Van Gogh in their living room?
