Skilllab

Skilllab is a social venture developing technology-based solutions to facilitate the integration of excluded individuals into local labour markets. We believe that the dignity of independence through work is a fundamental right that functioning labour markets should provide.

Our core technology is a mobile app that is a personal career assistant that makes professional career pathways into local jobs, education and volunteering visible. Using our app, refugees identify and document their professional skills fast and in their native languages and explore professional career pathways they could pursue in a given labour market. This skill assessment is made possible by our Artificial Intelligence (Winner of Google AI Impact Challenge), which covers 13,485 skills and interviews users to identify and document their skills.

Job seekers, case managers and career coaches use the resulting Skill Profiles to improve career planning, job search and vocational training.
