Bagboard is a new advertising platform bringing conscious brands and people closer together to drive sustainable environmental and social change. Our first mission? Removing 1 billion single-use plastic bags from the ocean.

- Brands will create ads to feature on eco-friendly paper bags (or smart bags). Retailers will distribute them for free to millions of consumers in London. Each smart bag is embedded with an RFID chip. RFID scanners on store doorways will track them as they leave.

- Consumers can register their smart bag on our app and let us know when they reuse it, creating millions of impressions. They’ll be rewarded with ‘conscious coins’ via our loyalty scheme to spend on sustainable products and services, as well as offsetting plastic waste through our partner, the Plastic Bank.

- The app will also inform consumers which brands are actively being more conscious. This’ll encourage more brands to take up sustainable practices in order to access our consumer network.
