Artur Golacki is a multidisciplinary artist working with traditional mediums as well as installations and assemblages. He was born in Wroclaw, Poland, where he also accomplished a Master Degree in Fine Arts. For the past twenty years, he'd lived and worked in the United Kingdom, currently in Millport, Scotland.
I like to experiment with old manual lenses in sunless daylight. The unusual colour rendering of a Vivitar lens always comes as a surprise. If I ever have to correct something in post processing it's usually sharpness. For Talking Trees, I was specifically looking at the abstraction of the subject when taken out of context – this effect of flatness gives the image the characteristics of a painting.
