So L’Oréal Paris had to find a creative way to increase sampling and recruit new consumers through an innovative digital strategy.
Makeup Genius uses augmented reality, creating an interactive experience inspiring consumers to design their looks. It turns women from passive consumers into active creators. They can try products and purchase directly from their mobile. The app allows for playful experimentation, but also reinforces the brand’s reputation for innovation.
