The past decade has seen an explosion in cycling media, both online and in print. Rapha believes that, in a crowded, formulaic sector, it is time for the sport to show renewed ambition. The objective was to create a lifestyle and culture editorial identity that would position Rapha above the noise, in a stylish, engaging, credible way. It needed to serve simultaneously as a brand magazine, a publication for our private members’ club, the Rapha Cycling Club, and a stand-alone international title that would engage new customers and compare favourably to established high-end periodicals.
