Landor Christmas Card

Award: Wood Pencil

Wood Pencil / Graphic Design / Greeting Cards & Invitations / 2016

How do you create a holiday card that would accommodate all cultures and calendars across the 21 countries in the Landor network? The challenge was complex, but the solution beautifully simple.

A modular card for every occasion. A perforated grid, designed to look like a seasonal wool knit, was laser etched into the card. Small pieces could be gently popped out to create personalised festive pictograms, from treetop angels to merry reindeer. These pieces were then enclosed within the card for a snowflake shower when opened. One card. For all countries.
