Recently Shiseido is facing a great challenge to build more intimate relationship with the younger generation.
Thus, to convey the fun and power of make-up to many young people, we decided to launch an entertaining movie on YouTube, something they would want to share among peers via social media.
To excite the generation, we explore the idea of “Pretty young high school girls being actually a bunch of high school boys wearing make-up” and also brought in the shooting technique : rewinding back a single continuous take without cuts over more than seven hours to show our concept dramatically.
