Award: Wood Pencil

Wood Pencil / Creativity for Good (White Pencil) / Advertising & Marketing Communications - Brand / 2016

Anomaly created the simple but powerful #MOREWOMEN video, photoshopping men out of pictures of leaders in politics, business, entertainment and media, revealing just how few women are at the top across the board.

The clear message, distinct visual language and soundtrack stirred the online community - overnight the film was a hit, igniting fierce debate all over the world.

In the first week alone the video was watched over 1mill times (with no paid support) and as NBC reported, in that week the hashtag #MOREWOMEN was used over 8mill times.
