A Kiss, Deferred' is our contribution to the New York Times' Modern Love column, based on a true story written by Nikolina Kulidžan. A 12-year-old girl’s life and love are shattered by the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Sixteen years later, an unexpected event leads her to re-visit her past.
