Mr X

Background –

The film really doesn'tdidn't have any objectives other than to tell as many stories as possible in the simplest and most powerful form I could create.

Everyone gets something slightly different from the film. I'll never tell what I set out to say, it will ruin it for everyone. Also apologies for the slightly over-length film - I didn't have to time to cut the titles before entry.

Solution –

It's a one person film and he's not an actor. Coupled with the fact that it was a one day shoot and he was in make up for 23 hours in between set ups. I had to tell a story, capture the shots I need for both post and the offline, make him comfortable in front of camera and do it all in one day.

Director's Profile –

I was a producer (and still am really) for many years both for agencies and for production.I studied film and always wanted to direct. I've been very lucky with the chances I've had so far.Mr X was the first bit of work I did almost entirely for me.
