By 2018, existing landfills in Hong Kong are set to be full. Despite this pressing crisis, the Hong Kong government had yet to take action to resolve the issue. To inspire activity, Greeners Action partnered with DDB Hong Kong and distributed two different coloured garbage bags to Hong Kong residents. Each colour represented a different proposed solution to tackling the encroaching landfill crisis. Residents could easily and publicly express their opinion on how to solve the garbage disposal crisis by simply disposing of their garbage. By including everyone in this important environmental issue, Greeners Action forced the government to take a more active role in solving it.
