Atlas worked as editors and designers, coming up with the title, design and concept of this stark photobook, which paints is a painful portrait of Spain's financial crisis and the results of cutbacks on the country's population. The photos were taken with a mobile camera over the course of four years. Atlas used silicon paper and printed the Spanish flag along the book's edges. Purposely French folded so that each page needs to be torn open in order to view the photos inside, even the physical format of the photobook underscores its painful foundations. And the absence of the letter S on the cover speaks for itself.
