The dynamic HTML5 site was populated with information on artists, club nights, events venues and tracks related to the musicians participating at the ‘Revolution in Sound’ events. With the help of public APIs like LastFm, SoundCloud and Google+ we were able to pull in user generated content, contextual information and thousands of links to these initial artists. Connections between these entities could be made with just a few clicks, using an intelligent data filtering system on the custom built CMS, creating a living archive of UK club culture.
