Our aim was to promote Channel 4’s ‘Funny Fortnight’, a season of classic and brand new comedy on Channel 4. It featured both up-and-coming talent and big names from 30 years of British comedy on Channel 4. We wanted to strip comedy back and let our audience get closer, so we paired up top Channel 4 comedians and filmed conversations between them in interesting couples. Creating an environment where they could riff off each other gave a wonderfully frank, personal and hilarious insight into them as people and comedians. The campaign popularity led us to make a 20-minute programme, which aired on 4OD.
