Our objective was to remind drivers that a McDonald’s drive-thru is a convenient service. From one of the many restaurants dotted around London, you can get food and drink delivered directly from a drive-thru window to your vehicle window. Observing that the stem of a bus T-side would be at the same height as a passing motorcycle, car or van window, the media allowed us to get up close with our target audience. The buses travelled along major routes all over London, passing thousands of vehicles every day.
