Google Display asked us to create an identity to live across all media that leveraged the simplicity and tone of the Google brand. Our challenge was to create a distinct identity for the company’s second- highest revenue source that would stand out in a world of B2B clutter. We created a logo that uses its most valuable asset: the Google logo. We then recreated it using the suite of different banner sizes available to advertisers. The banner spaces were designed with a colourful ‘Google’ take on the traditional ‘under construction’ pattern, hinting at great things to come.
