increasing violence, the D&AD White Pencil brief asked the world’s creative communities to help raise awareness for Peace Day, 21 September.In response we created ‘Recipeace’; a movement that inspired conflicting people to come together over food. Because nothing allows two people to bury the hatchet, settle their differences and create understanding better than a shared meal. The campaign elements were designed to unite people at the dinner table. It started with the Recipeace olive oil bottle, which invited people to break bread together. From there, the idea spread, ultimately reaching a global audience, one meal at a time.
